Welcome to Gore 4-H

Head – Heart – Hands – Health

At Gore Public Schools, 4-H is more than an extracurricular—it’s a hands-on learning experience that builds character, leadership, and lifelong skills in our students.

What is 4-H?
4-H is a youth development program delivered by Oklahoma State University Extension, designed to help students explore their interests, serve their communities, and grow as leaders. From agriculture and STEM to public speaking and creative arts, there’s something for everyone.

Who Can Join?
Gore 4-H is open to all students in 3rd–12th grade. We also offer Cloverbud opportunities for K–2nd grade students.

What Do We Do?
Members participate in:

  • Monthly meetings and community service projects

  • STEM, ag, and creative arts workshops

  • Local, county, and state competitions

  • Public speaking and record-keeping

  • Livestock projects (optional, not required)

Why Join 4-H?
Because it works. Students in 4-H learn responsibility, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking—all while having a lot of fun. It’s an investment in skills that last a lifetime.

How to Get Involved:
Gore 4-H is supported through the Sequoyah County OSU Extension Office and works in partnership with Gore Public Schools.
